Randy started with us in 1985 when Bob Martinson opened Martinson's Used Cars. After a few years he moved on to other opportunities but came back to work for us in 2002. He has been in the car business his whole life and is a lifelong resident of the East side of Des Moines. We are grateful to have had his help for all of these years and many more!

My name is Rob Martinson, owner of Martinson's Used Cars. Martinson's Used Cars was started by my father in 1985 at 3712 E. Hubbell Avenue in Des Moines, Iowa. We spent 10 years at that location before moving to 4000 East 14Th Street in Des Moines. We were at this location for 20 years and opened our Altoona location in 2013. We moved our entire operation to Altoona in 2015 as I have lived in and around Altoona since 1976. I graduated from Southeast Polk high school in 1989 and started washing cars at the age of 14. I started selling cars at the age of 17 and have been in the business ever since. I pride myself in running an honest operation that values every one of my customers. I have so many customers that come back again and again to buy cars from my store because they know that I will be honest, fair, and professional. I am one of the few dealers around that gives a 30 day guarantee on almost everything we sell.
